I had such a lovely time at this wedding! Jeni and Tim met in NYC a few years ago, but now live in Portland, OR. They decided to head back to New York for their wedding with their closest family and friends. They had their ceremony at the Conservatory Garden, and then we headed down to the area around the Highline for more photos as we strolled to their reception at Gusto Organics. These guys were such goofballs and so much fun to work with.
Jeni and Tim, thanks so much for having me! Congratulations and best wishes for many more fun travel adventures to you both.
Sam and CeCe are my first couple to come all the way from Alaska to elope in NYC! They opted to get married at City Hall and then meet up with me afterwards for a few photos around lower Manhattan. We strolled through Tribeca and then finished up with a few photos on the Highline.
Congratulations to you both!
My couples are the best. Liz and Lucy were no exception. I had the most wonderful afternoon with these two girls. They are another one of my couples from Texas, and sported the cowboy boots to prove it!
Liz and Lucy were married by the lovely Reverend Samora in the Dene Shelter, a place I’d never shot a ceremony before, but was completely perfect. (If you’re looking for a quiet, smallish shelter in the park to take the place of Wagner’s Cove, this might be a good choice!) After the ceremony, we wandered through the park and then they even let me convince them to take a ride on the Roosevelt Island tram, one of my favorite trips within the city!
Liz and Lucy, I can’t thank you enough for having me. I wish you both many years of full happiness and adventures!
Congratulations to you both!
I had a great evening with Shanan and Ben for their elopement in Central Park! These two came up from Australia to tie the knot in NYC. For their ceremony, officiated by Judie Guild, they chose a lovely spot by Turtle Pond overlooking Belvedere’s Castle. After exchanging vows (and a super cool Batman ring!) we wandered for a grand photo tour all through Central Park, including some rather feisty turtles over by the Ladies Pavilion!
Shanan and Ben, thanks so much to you both for being awesome, I had a great time at your wedding! Best wishes and many congratulations!
I had such a lovely morning with Gustavo and Isabela!
These two came up from Brazil to visit NYC and we had a great time strolling Brooklyn Bridge, DUMBO, and even up to Fort Tryon Park in northern Manhattan. Lots more to come, congratulations to you both!
I had such a lovely morning with Laura and Paul, who came over from the UK to elope in New York. I met up with them at the City Clerk’s office for their ceremony, and then we wandered around the courthouse for a few photos, and from there hopped in a cab to Brooklyn Bridge Park. The day had been threatening rain all morning, but it held out and instead we got some lovely foggy clouds for great photos!
Thanks to Laura and Paul for being so much fun! Best wishes and congratulations to you both!
What a fantastic evening! I had such a great time with Matt and Gail. These two came up from North Carolina to elope in NYC. We started off with a wonderful ceremony by Christopher Frost Shelley of Illuminating Ceremonies in Carl Schurz Park, one of my favorite hidden spots in the city. Then we headed over to grab some skyline views at Gantry Plaza and Brooklyn Bridge Park. Lots more to come! Enjoy the preview!
I had such a wonderful time with Beth and Bryce! They opted for my mini elopement package, which works out great for couples looking for just a ceremony and a few portraits in one location. I was also thrilled they decided to take me up on the idea of going somewhere a bit further afield! Don’t get me wrong, Central Park is lovely, but there are so many other awesome spaces in NYC, it’s fun to explore some new views.
I met up with them in the evening at Fort Tryon Park in northern Manhattan along with their officiant Judie, and we strolled around to find a perfect ceremony spot overlooking the river and the George Washington Bridge. After they were officially hitched, we had a fabulous time wandering through the park for loads of fun photos. This area made for gorgeous images, especially with the fresh spring blooms.
Congratulations guys! Best wishes to you both!
Also, sidenote. See that tattoo on Beth’s foot? This lady is an ironman triathlete! How awesome is that? As a fellow (non-iron) triathlon runner, I was super impressed! :-)
I had such a lovely evening with Tonia and Charmaine. These two high school sweethearts from Texas came up to NYC for the 5 boro bike tour, and decided it would be a great weekend to get married as well! Their ceremony was officiated by the always wonderful Judie Guild in Central Park’s Ladies Pavilion. After the ceremony we wandered through the late spring cherry blossoms all around Shakespeare’s Garden, Turtle Pond and Conservatory Waters. We even managed to find a few bikes to commemorate the trip!
Thanks ladies for having me! All the best to you both! Congratulations!
