I had SUCH a good time with Michael and Andrew! They came up from Florida along with their closest friends to get married in NYC and I’m so glad they found me. I met up with these two handsome grooms for their ceremony at City Hall and then we hopped in a limo for photos at Brooklyn Bridge Park. The morning could not have been better, these guys made my job easy, and I am in love with the photos we captured. We capped off with brunch and mimosas in midtown, making it an amazing day all around!
Michael and Andrew, thank you both so very much for having me! It was such a pleasure. I wish you many years of love and happiness. Congratulations!
Trevor and Sher contacted me Sunday afternoon, and by Sunday night they were getting hitched. Now that’s an elopement folks, not for the feint of heart. They were married just as the last rays of sunshine fell below the horizon on Turtle Pond by the lovely Sarah Ritchie. More to come!
Congratulations to you both!
I had such a fun morning with Morna and Gary who came over from Scotland to elope at City Hall. The weather started off a bit wet, but things turned sunny by the end and we had a great tour of the city. More to come!

Yep, you read that right, FOUR brides! This was my first double wedding, and I had an absolute blast with these ladies this afternoon. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed more during a two hour session.
They decided to go for Brooklyn Bridge Park despite the weather, as Jami said it was “Brooklyn Bridge or Bust!” And the risk paid off, we got about two hours without rain and it was awesome. We got in some fun portraits, and then they each traded off witnessing for the others ceremonies, so great!
More to come from these four, thanks so much for having me girls! Congratulations!
Oh yeah, and I almost forgot to mention… That time there was a wedding at Brooklyn Bridge Park invaded by a group of cycling Dutchmen in American flag jumpsuits? Yep. That happened today. Pure amazingness.
And then they just came out of nowhere.
But then joined in the fun!
I had a wonderful morning with Rose and Tony. I met up with them by the Ladies Pavillion and then we strolled down to Bethesda Terrace and then hopped in a cab for their ceremony down at City Hall. More to come!
Today was so very wonderful. I had an absolute ball with Michael, Andrew and their friends…From City Hall, to Brooklyn Bridge Park, and even out to brunch! These guys were amazing. So much more to come!
Katarina and Mario are from Croatia and plan on returning there this fall for a big wedding. (Oh how much I would LOVE to go, Croatia is near the top of my many lists of places I need to go.) However, in the meantime, they got legally hitched in New York City and asked if I’d be willing to take a few portraits in Central Park before they headed down to City Hall. Of course!
I had a wonderful morning with these two and their friends wandering through the park. Aren’t they a gorgeous couple? Best wishes to you both!
Katarina’s only request… A photo of her and Mario with their friends jumping! Done and done. Congrats guys!
Stephen and Jim were my very last elopement of 2013, and I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful couple to close out the calendar. These two flew up from Atlanta to be married in a private ceremony by Judie Guild at the Phillips Club adjacent to Lincoln Center. They were the most charming southern gentlemen and a complete joy to work with. We wandered through Central Park and then out to Lincoln Center as Jim is a huge fan of the arts. I’ve never done portraits at Lincoln Center before, but it was a lovely area to shoot.
Stephen and Jim have been together for 39 years, and I couldn’t have been more honored to be a part of their celebration. They are the picture perfect evidence that love is love. Couples like Stephen and Jim are the reason my job is so wonderful. Thank you both so much for having me.
Congratulations and I wish you the very best!
Lori Ann and Michael were married in a small, private ceremony in the West Village officiated by the always wonderful Judie Guild. After their ceremony, we had a wonderful time wandering through the neighborhood and then headed over to the river front for a few photos by the water. Lori Ann then brought us up to her amazing office were we finished up portraits with an amazing sunset view!
After their wedding, these two are heading out on a new adventure together with a big move to Malaysia!
Congratulations and best wishes to you both!
Lynda and Andy travelled all the way from Hawaii to elope in New York City! These two came to me via Offbeat Bride, and I couldn’t have been happier to work with both of them. Lynda and Andy are two of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. And, they’ve known each other since the 4th grade! How cute is that?
We met up in Brooklyn Bridge Park early one Friday morning hoping for skyline views. Mother nature had other plans, huge clouds of fog. While it wasn’t what I originally had in mind, I think it actually turned out pretty magical. I had so much fun wandering around the park and into DUMBO with these two. After loads of photos, we grabbed a cab up to City Hall for their ceremony, and then hopped up to the Highline to finish off the afternoon.
Lynda and Andy, congratulations and best wishes! I had such a wonderful time, thanks so much for everything!
