On the wedding day itself, we actually had a blast – we figured that taking photos was one of the things that we ‘had to do’, but looking back, we actually *loved* walking around the Meatpacking district in NYC with just ourselves and Nicki after the ceremony, hanging out, chatting about traveling and just taking a moment to get some relaxed and unique photos of us enjoying NYC. You’ve heard the song “Everything Is Awesome” from the Lego Movie? It might as well be Nicki’s theme song! We were so lucky to be able to work with her for our wedding, and beyond pleased not only with how professional and soothing she was on the big day, but also with how wonderfully her many stunning shots came out. She was unflappable, gracious, brilliant and tireless. And the results are just wonderful! My husband and I are so glad we found her, and give her our highest recommendation!

Nicki is amazing! She’s incredible to work with, has a fantastic eye and a laid back demeanor that gets the best out of her subjects. My husband and I felt so relaxed around with her it felt like an old friend was taking our photos and because of this, there’s not one photo in which either of us looks uncomfortable or has a stilted smile on our face. Everything with her felt effortless, from choosing areas in NYC to serve as a backdrop for photos (we eloped), and she came to our rescue by serving as witness when our best friends forgot their passports back at the hotel! Now that’s service!! Nicki was calm when the rest of our nerves were bordering on frayed and her easy-going nature made it easy to get centered again.
