What an incredible day! I loved everything about yesterday, Maggie and Eric are such a fantastic couple. They were so kind and gracious and so much fun to photograph. Maggie and Eric had their wedding at the Foundry in Long Island City, a venue I’ve been wanting to photograph forever! I’m somewhat of an ivy obsessed photographer, so shoot a wedding at the Foundry was just awesome.
I love personalized touches on a wedding day, and these two had them in spades. From a subway themed wedding with hand drawn illustrations for their escort cards to photos sewn into their chuppah, their personality showed through at every instance. They even managed to get Peter Salett, the artist of their favorite song, to actually come to their wedding to play it live for their first dance. How cool is that?
Maggie and Eric, thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of your day! Congratulations and best wishes to you both!
