When I first heard from Bridget and Charlotte I was pretty certain I was meant to photograph their wedding. They were looking for engagement photos in NYC and then having their Semple Mansion wedding in Minneapolis. The perfect combination! (*A note to all MSP couples, I don’t charge any travel fees for Twin Cities weddings.) I love getting the chance to head back to the midwest every now and then and even better, my husband and I actually almost got married at the Semple Mansion ourselves, so I was thrilled to get the chance to photograph an event there!
Bridget and Charlotte are two women who light up the room. They were an absolute joy to work with and their love just made me smile the whole day. They decided not to see each other beforehand, so I sent my awesome second shooter Allison to photograph getting ready with Charlotte while I hung out with Bridget. Bridget’s face as she saw Charlotte walk down the aisle was priceless! Oh! And I almost forgot, they had a sing-a-long as part of their wedding ceremony. You can’t go wrong with a musical cermeony! 🙂 The reception brought the house down with an excellent dance party and even had a gelato bar! (More ice cream always please says this photographer.)
