So you guys, 2017? It was a crazy one. It turns out having a baby and shooting a full wedding/elopement season? Tricky business. I managed to stay on top of my client work, but getting full blog posts up fell by the wayside. However, I’m finally getting a chance to breath again over the winter so I wanted to get caught up on all the awesomeness that was 2017.
First up! Sarah and Noa’s Park Slope Brooklyn wedding at Scottadito Osteria Toscana. They were supposed to be married in the summer. However, I was contacted by Sarah in the fall to find out their original venue had closed and they had to move their date! While most people might be freaked out, these guys seemed to handle it was grace and were set up at Scottadito Osteria in no time. The only thing? I would be 36 weeks pregnant. But never fear, these guys were beyond understanding and I brought along a second shooter and had plenty of back-up and it worked out wonderfully.
I started off the day with Sarah at her apartment in Park Slope. In the meantime my second shooter hung out with Noa and caught all the hilarious tie tying antics of two friends who don’t normally wear ties. 🙂 It had snowed the day before their wedding, so there was a fresh coat of winter wonderland all over Brooklyn. We did their first look in Park Slope and then wandered up to Prospect Park and Grand Army Plaza for portraits. That winter light? It was golden perfection. Paired with a couple who loves to laugh and be goofy? I was a happy photographer.
Congratulations (and almost happy anniversary) Sarah & Noa! Thanks for being awesome!
