Turtle Pond Wedding in Central Park | Alannah & Iain

What an amazing fall we’re having! Yesterday felt almost like summer and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky! Alannah and Iain came over from the UK to be married in Central Park. They had a turtle theme for their afternoon. As Alannah described it began with their proposal… “Just after Iain proposed to me at a small wildlife park, an escaped turtle ran across the lawn ahead of us chased by a keeper!” They continued the fun for their elopement, saying their vows in front of Turtle Pond, a wonderful spot the is overlooked by Belvedere Castle. They then exchanging adorable little turtle brooches instead of rings.

Afterwards we wandered through Shakespeare Garden, the Ramble and up to Hernshead by the Ladies Pavilion in search of fun photo backdrops and of course, the adorable turtles of Central Park!

Congratulations Alannah and Iain! Thanks so much for having me! More photos on the way soon!
