I had such a great time photographing this Grand Central Wedding! Sarah and Daniel traveled from North Carolina with their families to elope in NYC! They were looking for lots of art deco elements and some vintage style and we settled on Grand Central as the perfect ceremony space. While the main hall of Grand Central is quite busy, there are some tucked away corners that work perfectly for an intimate ceremony. One of my favorite places is the Biltmore Room, which coincidentally has the romantic history of being known as the “kissing gallery“. Sarah and Daniel had their ceremony here officiated by Collette LaCoste Mcguire. They ended with everyone blowing bubbles to wish them well!
Afterwards they arranged for cake at Magnolia Bakery and then we headed out for portraits around the terminal as well the neighboring NY Public Library and Bryant Park. They even showed their awesome swing dancing skills and Sarah’s dress was so fun to twirl around! After portraits they headed back to Grand Central to meet up with their families for a champagne toast and celebratory dinner.
Congratulations Sarah and Daniel! Thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of your day!
