Amy is from the UK, Chris is from the east coast of the US. They crossed paths while in China and this global love story began. The pair currently still live and work in China, but met up in NYC for their Ladies Pavilion elopement wedding on a brilliant summer day. Amy’s parents along with her 4 sisters came over from the UK, Chris’s family and friends came from across the US. It was truly a worldwide celebration made even more special by the fact they were married by Chris’s mom and shared part of their personal vows in Mandarin. Instead of being married in the actual ladies pavilion, they opted to have their ceremony by the lake just in front of it. This was excellent as it led to some wonderful views of the skyline.
After they made things official, Amy tossed her bouquet and we wandered all through Central Park from Bow Bridge and Cherry Hill out to Bethesda Terrace and Literary Walk for photos. These guys make fun videos of their dance moves wherever they are in the world, so we had to capture a few fun silly dancing photos as well. When we finished with photos they headed off to a celebratory lunch with family and friends.
