When I first got the email from Jaya asking about photography for their wedding at the Metropolitan Building in Queens, I was immediately excited. She mentioned they were having a multicultural celebration centered around social justice, love and community. When I think of my ideal event description? It’s this. 100%. Together with the fact they were having their wedding at one of my all time favorite venues, the Metropolitan Building, I was completely on board.
Their day was so incredible. Jaya and Jeremy brought together so many different cultural elements, incorporated their family and friends, including their adorable son, had some of the most delicious wedding food ever (shout-out to Jackson Diner in Queens!) and ended the night with an fantastic dance party!
