As one of the best food cities in the world, New York is full to the brim of amazing restaurants. Many of these restaurants have space for a private gathering that is perfect for a small elopement. Angelique and Health decided to take advantage of one of these spots and hosted their intimate restaurant wedding at Del Posto one of NYC’s best Italian spots in Chelsea.
Angelique is originally from Hawaii, but moved to NYC a few years back. She met Heath at a party and nabbed his favorite hat. This required them to meet up later for her to return it, and the rest, as they say, is history. Nearly four years later, they decided to get hitched and a restaurant elopement was the perfect setting.
I met up with them at Del Posto in the evening and we took a quick spin on the neighboring Highline for portraits. Angelique’s lace wrap dress was amazing and they got lots of congratulations from passers by! After photos we headed inside for their ceremony, in a romantic private dining room. They were married by a family friend and then got to celebrate with their nearest and dearest!
