Leah and Ray are such a cute couple! They’re getting married this summer in Central Park, but we met up earlier in the spring for their engagement session in Brooklyn. Ray used to live in Brooklyn Heights and they strolled the Brooklyn Heights Promenade all the time, so thought it would be a great spot for some photos.
I love this area of Brooklyn, and the promenade is a wonderful spot to get some great views of the downtown Manhattan skyline. We stopped by on a weekend morning before the crowds rolled in, so we had the walk mostly to ourselves minus a jogger or two which was lovely. After the walking the promenade we ducked into Brooklyn Heights to enjoy a bit of the neighborhood, finding Ray’s old apartment and stopping to dance in a few doorways, because why not? Also, as a self proclaimed colorful door lover? This neighborhood is excellent. So many wonderful doorways. We finished our stroll down the hill into Brooklyn Bridge Park and then I sent them on their way to enjoy a Saturday brunch on a beautiful afternoon.
Congratulations on your engagement and I’m excited to see you both again soon this summer!
