This elopement was so full of joy from around the world. Steven is from the States, Yas is from Japan. They met in Japan on business and now live together in Switzerland. Their friends and family flew in from across the globe to be a part of the celebration at the Ladies Pavilion in Central Park.
It was cloudy, but an unseasonably warm fall day, and the autumn colors were still on display in early November. As soon I saw the two smiling grooms walk down to the pavilion in their matching teal tuxedos, I knew this was going to be a great day! These gentlemen were so very dapper with their custom tuxes, fancy shoes and cufflinks. Steven and Yas specifically requested to go to lesser known parts of the park and wanted to avoid the popular Bethesda Terrace. As I’m always up for something new and love with clients want to go a bit off the beaten path, this sounded perfect to me. We took their photos after the ceremony wandering through the Ramble and then behind the Conservatory Waters, quieter areas of the park more full of winding paths and leafy trees then the hoards of tourists you find farther south. After their elopement and a photo session, I bid them farewell and they were off to dinner to celebrate.
