Hopscotch, Fall Leaves, Guitar Hero, Rooftop Sunsets. Pretty much the most fun engagement session you could ask for. Vanessa and Chris are getting married next summer and I met up with them for their engagement session a few weeks ago. I love hanging out with couples in a place that’s special to them, and for Vanessa and Chris we took a walk around their neighborhood in Jersey City and then finished up at their house.
I haven’t been over to Jersey City much, but I have to say in the last two times I’ve been, it’s starting to grow on me. Vanessa and Chris live in a super cute area, and the streets looked straight out of Park Slope, Brooklyn. It was great fun strolling around with them and they were up for all my crazy ideas.
After a neighborhood stroll we stopped by their apartment that has a super amazing rooftop! While waiting for the sun to set and to warm up a bit we were in the living room and Chris was suggested a game of Guitar Hero. I think he was joking, but I jumped at the chance as I always love to photograph couples doing fun things they would actually do together. 🙂 After we rocked out, we got to enjoy the killer view with an incredible sunset.
