Surprisingly, even after shooting elopements in the city for over 5 years now, this was the first wedding ceremony I’ve had the honor of shooting at Top of the Rock. What an an amazing location, it did not disappoint! If you’re looking for one of the most spectacular views of New York City from above, the Top of the Rock is it. I convinced Amber and Brandon to head up for their wedding first thing in the morning as soon as it opens to avoid most of the crowds, and I’m so glad we did.
They were married by the lovely Judie Guild with a few close friends and family present. Afterwards, we snapped a few photos, there was a shoe change, and then we were off. Amber and Brandon requested some photos in the subway and a few on the streets so we hopped for a quick ride one stop down to Bryant Park. I’ve never seen two people more thrilled about riding the subway, it was pretty cute. After a whirlwind elopement in New York, they were headed off to a romantic honeymoon in Paris and Venice! How awesome is that?
Congratulations, Amber and Brandon! I wish you guys all the best!
