My favorite time of day in NYC and the best time to get married in my humble opinion? Sunrise without question. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not especially a morning person, however, when I do manage to get out for a sunrise? Pure magic. The light is golden, the air is crisp and clean and it’s the one time of day when the city is quiet and peaceful, not a crowd in sight. Then you have the rest of your day to enjoy being married… and probably take a little nap as well.
I met up with Ray and Anna for their sunrise elopement ceremony at Brooklyn Bridge Park. If you’re looking for skyline views, this park is always a wonderful option. Judie officiated while their two friends acted as witnesses, and then we were off to enjoy the neighborhood for some great photo opportunities in the morning light.
Congratulations Ray and Anna! It was wonderful to meet you and I wish you both the very best!
