I had such a wonderful time with Erica, Paul and their families. This is my second elopement on board the Staten Island Ferry and it’s such a fun place for a wedding! After some photos around Battery Park and the ferry terminal we headed on board the boat and staked out a place on the back deck for a full view of the downtown skyline. The crew is always awesome on the ferry and they even announced a congratulations over the loud speaker.
This elopement was full of personal touches, Erica and Paul wore orange as a tribute to Dutch heritage, they were married by Erica’s childhood friend, and Erica said one of the unique things about the Staten Island ferry is many of the boats were actually built in the small town in Wisconsin where her grandparents had their farm. How cool is that?
