I had such a great afternoon with Bethany and Justin, who came from Seattle for their elopement at Central Park in New York City. They chose the Glen Span Arch for their intimate wedding ceremony and I’m so glad they did! I LOVE the northern reaches of Central Park, and I so rarely get to shoot there. It’s a beautiful area, complete with waterfalls, wooden bridges and forested trails. It’s also delightfully absent of the throngs of tourists you’ll often find around Bethesda Terrace.
They were married by a close friend and then we wandered through the North Woods for lots more photos and laughs. Bethany and Justin both work in the arts, and Bethany has a small theater company and performs as a clown. Thus, she asked if we take some fun photos with clown attire. Of course! I aim to please, and lots of silliness ensued. 🙂
Thank you both so much for inviting me to be a part of your wedding day! It was wonderful to meet you and I wish you many years of happiness! Congratulations and have a stunning honeymoon in Greece!
