Ansley and Beth had booked me for an elopement earlier last fall. They were planning to come up from North Carolina for a weekend and make things official in Central Park. However, in a wonderful turn of events, North Carolina legalized same sex marriage the day before they were set to leave, so these two ladies were able to be legally wed with their children and family present in their home state! Hurray for spontaneous weddings!
They still had a trip planned though, now things were just a pre-made honeymoon instead! So we turned their session into an anniversary/just married photo shoot and had a ball touring the city, snapping photos, and celebrating the newlyweds! We toured Central Park, Washington Mews, and Brooklyn Bridge Park for an awesome photo adventure.
Congratulations Ansley and Beth! Best wishes to you both! 🙂
