Holy moly. This past wedding season was amazing! A HUGE thank you to all my awesome clients for making this past year one of the best yet! While I’ve been shooting primarily elopements nowadays I still love the energy that comes with big weddings and 2014 gave me the honor of capturing 17 celebrations, bringing my big wedding total up to 67. I am constantly overwhelmed by gratitude that this many couples have invited me to be such an integral part of their special day.
This year was especially fun with the opportunity to shoot in so many beautiful locations. I got to head back to Vermont, one of my favorite places for weddings, twice this year to both the Grafton Inn and West Mountain Inn. This past summer I got to enjoy my first wedding in the Berkshires at the Race Brook Lodge followed by two wonderful summer camp weddings, in both the Hudson Valley and Connecticut. This fall I traveled up to the Catskills and then on to Lake Placid for some stunning weddings up north. I also got to shoot back in my hometown of Minneapolis with a super fun wedding at the Day Block Event Center. In the city I also got to finally shoot at the Prospect Park Picnic House, along with the Knockdown Center, Coney Island, and Eleven Madison Park.
Congratulations and best wishes to all my 2014 couples!
For the purposes of this highlight reel, since the line sometimes is a bit blurry, I’m separating weddings and elopements by size with elopements being those events with 20 or fewer guests.
