My final highlight post for 2014, the year of the elopement. I photographed 50 elopement sessions in 2014, bringing my grand total to 102. Over a hundred elopements! How awesome is that? The intimacy and light-heartedness that elopements bring has led these celebrations to be some of my favorite to be a part of. These sessions just make me happy and so grateful that this is my job. I love that elopements allow couples to forgo much of the stress involved in a big wedding and just focus on the really good stuff, that you get to marry your absolute favorite person!
One of the things I love most about elopements is meeting couples from around the country and across the globe. My clients this year came all the way from England, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, Croatia, Austria, Ireland, Brazil, Canada, France, Japan and all over the US. As a self proclaimed travel addict, hearing my client’s travel stories, listening to fun accents, and learning about their hometowns while showing them New York is a pure delight and feeds my wanderlust.
Now I’m just rambling on. So, without further ado, here are a few frames to highlight the year in elopements.
