This was such a wonderful elopement! Carl Schurz Park is one of my favorite places in the city. A little gem of beautiful green space hidden away way on the Upper East Side. This isn’t a park for tourists, it’s a local spot that’s generally always quiet and calm. It also happens to be two blocks from my new apartment… so when Matt and Gail said that was where they’d like to have their ceremony, I was thrilled! Three cheers for couples willing to explore a bit off the beaten path!
They had a lovely ceremony under gorgeous blue summer skies, performed by Christopher Frost Shelley of Illuminating Ceremonies. After wandering around Carl Schurz and the Upper East Side, we hopped in a limo for some fantastic sunset photos at Gantry Park in Queens and Brooklyn Bridge Park. Skyline wedding photos can’t be beat!
Congratulations to Matt and Gail! Best wishes to you both!
