Travel Tuesday for 7.22.14: Tayrona National Park, Colombia
Traveled: February 2014 with Lindsay
Things are in full swing behind the scenes busy season at the moment. I’m not shooting a ton in July, but am playing major catch-up from all the awesome that was June, so this week I thought we could use some tranquil beaches. I haven’t shared any of Colombia photos from my trip in February, but not for lack of amazing scenery. I will get there!
Colombia was a spur of the moment travel purchase. I knew I wanted to go somewhere in slow season, and had been targeting Central America, but then, as often happens, a super cheap ticket popped up for Cartegena and the universe made the decision for me. Colombia bound! Lindsay and I spent just over a week frolicking along the coast, and you guys? Colombia is gorgeous. These particular images are from Tayrona National Park, where you take a bus, then hike for two hours through the jungle to rent a hammock in a thatched roof shelter on some of the most fantastic beaches you’ll ever see. Which, sounds crazy, but trust me. You must go. More soon! 🙂
