Miriam and Prabhas. I’m so happy I got to be a part of your amazing day!
Miriam and I go way back, I hired her as an Americorps member as part of my old day job for a program I managed for a local community health center called Community Healthcorps. Miriam stayed on as one of my super star members for two years, then worked for the organization, and then ended up taking MY job as I left to do photography full time. So, to sum up, she’s a pretty awesome lady dedicated to working with underserved communities. Her new husband Prabhas is just as awesome as he is traveling the world also doing non profit work. 🙂
Prabhas is Nepali, and they actually were married in a Nepali ceremony the day before which I’m SO sad I wasn’t able to attend! Even though I only got one day of the wedding festivities, it was pretty fantastic. These two made my job easy, I could take photos of them all day! They were married in the lovely Graeme Park just outside Philadelphia, and it was great to get the chance to shoot in a new area outside the city.
Miriam had henna done for the Nepali portion of the wedding. She also wore her Grandmother’s veil, isn’t it lovely?
First look moments are some of the most tender, emotional moments of the day, every time.
Love this!
This little ring bearer on the left was more cuteness then I could handle. He informed me before the ceremony that he was dressed in his special Bruce Wayne suit, complete with Batman belt buckle. 🙂
Wedding recessionals are some of my favorite things to photograph. Pure. Joy.
This little dude stole the show. He requested a specific song during which he performed some amazing dance moves just for Miriam and Prabhas. 🙂
I don’t get too many couples who go for the cake smash…But these two went for it and it was awesome and chocolatey!
Props from the photo booth. Miriam, this may be my most favorite bridal portrait of all time! 😀
Congratulations guys! I wish you both a lifetime of happiness.
And an extra special shoutout to all my HealthCorps crew!
