After meeting with Krina and Prat a few months before their wedding, I knew it was going to be awesome. While they are having a big, more traditional Indian wedding next spring, they wanted something small that could be just for them this summer, hence the elopement. Krina said they were looking for colorful and fun, two things I always LOVE to hear and knew would make fabulous photos! 🙂
They were married on a beautiful summer evening a few weeks ago in the Shakespeare Garden in Central Park by the wonderful Lawrence Greco (my second wedding by a Buddhist Monk!) surrounded by their parents and sisters. It was a beautiful ceremony with both Krina and Prat writing their own vows. I love how expressive these two are, their faces during the ceremony were great! 🙂

After the ceremony, we wandered through the garden and Central Park taking all sorts of fun photos. These two are complete goof balls and had no problem hamming it up. I’m pretty sure we were laughing the whole time! 🙂
After Central Park, we grabbed a cab down to Tribeca where they were meeting their family later for dinner.
Krina and Prat immediately asked for a stop at the Balloon Saloon for some monkeying around, which I am always happy to oblige. 🙂 This place is super fun!

Then on to explore the neighborhood. I love when couples are willing to just wander the streets and go for it. This area has so many cool little spots and fantastic architecture.
I LOVE cool doorways, and bright colors? Double win.
