I may be a Floridian by birth (Go Gators! 🙂 ) but Minnesota has always been home for me. It’s where I grew up, where I went to college, where my roots are. Minnesotans are my people, I love the land of 10,000 lakes.
In a little less then a month, Minnesota will be voting on a constitutional amendment to define marriage as between one man and one woman. I don’t have to tell you how much this saddens, angers, and generally makes me want to throw things. However, I figured I could do more productive things then throw random objects so, I’ve decided to start my yearly giving back mission a bit early this year.

In doing so, I am giving a contribution in honor of each LGBTQ wedding I’ve been a part of this year towards Minnesotans United for All Families. I have been so lucky to work with so many fantastic couples across New York, and I am so hopeful that the same rights will soon be granted in my home state.
Here’s to love.  Come on Minnesota! VOTE NO!
