I hope you all have been enjoying your fall! Though it’s been a very rainy autumn in Vermont, it’s also been amazingly beautiful. I’ve been crazy busy this season, but I still managed to carve out some time to enjoy the mountains. A few weeks ago while the leaves were at their peak, I took myself on a hike up a Camel’s Hump. Camel’s Hump is one of the premier mountain tops in the region, or at least so says my hiking guide book. After trekking to the top, I certainly agree, the view was stupendous.
Though I miss living in the city some days, most of the time I am loving being in the fresh air!
Starting out on the trail with some bright red leaves! And then, so much yellow!
This trail was longer then any I’ve done in awhile and I was for sure sore the next day!
Things were pretty gradual starting out, but then started getting a little more on the rocky side!
And then up to the peak!
I have found no matter where I travel, the view from the top is always worth the hike up. 🙂 Even though it was a pretty overcast day, can you believe those colors??
Happy Hiking!
