When I first met Julie and Eric, I had just run the Brooklyn Half Marathon. The race finishes on the Coney Island Boardwalk. As I was walking around after the finish, I remember thinking, I would LOVE to do a session here with a fun couple! Thus, a few days later when these two asked where I’d like to shoot if I had the chance, I immediately said, Coney Island! Fast forward a few months later, and they were still up for it! I could not have been more excited!
So, as a general rule, my couples are awesome, and these guys were no exception. I’m pretty sure they might win a prize for one of the most fun engagement sessions to date!
Not only are Julie and Eric ridiculously fun, but they’re pretty amazingly cute in photos! Am I right?
My only instructions were: Oooh! That wall is colorful, go stand between the arrows! Reason #4,273 these guys are amazing. 🙂
Bumper car engagement session? Always YES.
After we left the amusement park and went out onto the boardwalk and there was a live band playing. Eric said, with no prompting from me, “Should we dance?” My answer to questions like these will always be, “OF COURSE you should dance!”
LOVE it.
Because, what Coney Island session is complete without Spiderman?
We also managed to get in a nice walk on the beach.
After we had our fill of outdoor fun (it was seriously HOT this October day) we retreated inside for a few cold beers at the Coney Island Museum.
Julie and Eric, thanks so much for a fantastically fun afternoon! I am SUPER excited for your wedding next spring!!
Happy Halloween! 🙂
